Things that are going on

Well Thursday will be 3 years with Ed. I don't really want to do anything special. Just crossing my fingers for a new digital camera:) Ed and I have been going back and forth about Alexis's room and how to paint it. So we have decided half the wall purple (lilac) half the wall green and then a pink strip in between. Plus I have Tinkerbell sticker apps. ( hoping they will stick again). I know it sounds like a lot going on in one room, but I think it will look good. Of course Jack's room may look a little plain when that is done. I also want to get the kids wooden letters to paint and put their names up on the wall. Jack has cushion like letter on his wall but I want him to have something nicer. Other future plans I would like to do is rip up living room carpet and put down flooring and rip up the carpet upstairs to expose flooring and get room size area carpets. Oh and paint our bedroom(of course last room to be done). I am thinking tan or beige. Friday we are going to my parents house for July 4Th. Nothing big just a small get together we are cooking out. so that is pretty much what is going on this week.

Movie-The Eye

I actually liked this movie. When I first saw the previews I thought it was a scary movie, like jump out and say boo ghosts. It was more paranormal phenomena. I won't ruin the ending but I will say surprise,surprise to the ending. I would defiantly recommend this movie to others.

Oh No Laundry

Never again will I EVER procrastinate and get behind in laundry again. I have been doing laundry for 2 days!!!!!! which has equaled out to about 50 loads of laundry and still going. I think I am going to start a movie of the week on my blog. I see all these other mama blogs where people do thinks like that for example a quote of the week or a meal. Well I watch alot of movies so what the hell why not. Usually ed and I get one movie a week but lately we have been going movie crazyy. Just this week alone we watched Hatchett,Juno and untraceable. Hatchet I give like 3 stars. It was more funny then scary. gory which I don't like but ed loves. plus it takes place in New Orleans during mardi gras which translates to lots of boobs. It did however end like a classic horror movie the girl gets grabbed and then it ends. Juno I give 5 stars I loved it. It was funny and heart-warming. Juno is actually one of the movies that I could actually watch again and again. Now on to untraceable.........LOVED THIS MOVIE. no stars in my head could rate this. I was on edge watching this movie. Yes I actually was yelling at the TV screen. If you like suspense in your movies this is for you.

Updates,updates

I have my appointment on July 15th to see the surgeon for my gall bladder. I am not sure when they will schedule the surgery so until then my low-fat diet lol. Jack's speech therapy went very well today. Finally no full blown temper tantrums :) Jack pointed things out on cards and got almost every one right I am so proud of him. OT went ok today, Jack is still refusing to use his utensil's for eating. On a good note he was able to put the pieces in Mr.Potato head which is a big improvement. Alexis is getting so big now also. she can now sit up with her back against something ( like furniture) and pillows around her. she also is trying to get up on the knees I say by 8 months she will be crawling!!! which means trouble for me. I don't know how I will handle that with Jackman's delay he didn't crawl until almost a year.

I need Surgery:(

Monday I had real bad indigestion. The pain makes me wish someone would kill me lol. so anyways the pain started to go to my back and shoot up my arm. At like 2 am I went to the ER. Turns out my gall bladder is bad and I need it out. good thing is it's out patient so I won't have to be away from my babies overnight. I have to call today and make my appointment. Now I am on this low fat diet and it stinks:( but I will stick to it b/c I defintly do not want another attack.

Lexy's Update

So everything with Alexis is fine. I am so happy and I knew there wasn't anything wrong with her. anyways it's Friday (ya) It's Whipple City weekend here in my town. There's food,music a tiny carnival for the kids. I also have my niece over night this weekend so if Saturday it does not rain we will be swimming. hope everyone has a good weekend:)

Alexis's Ultrasound tomm.

The doctors office called this morning. Alexis is scheduled for her ultrasound at 10:30 tomorrow. I am not worried though because I honestly think it will be nothing. The whole thing sucks for ed because now he has to miss work on short notice. I hope his job doesn't fire him, I don't think they will but you never know. Both the kids have colds:( Alexis is almost over her cold and Jack's has just begun. I swear summer colds are worse then winter ones.

Lexy's Doctor Appointment ( 6 month old)

Today my litte girl had her appointment. She is 16. 1 1/2 oz. and 26 1/2 inches long. now for the bad part of the exam. her head measured off the charts and her soft spot was also big so we need to get an ultrasound of my baby girls head. At first it made me want to cry. I was thinking why me why my kids. first with Jack's therapy and now possible fluid in her head. SO anyways after my pity party I was feeling better about things b/c I know they will more than likely say that everything is alright.

First Therapy Appointment

Today was Jack's first appointment. The ST (speech therapist) seems alot more organized and planned out person vs Jack's OT(occupational therapist) She's more laid back and when she's here it doesn't feel as if Jack's having therapy. I am sure I will feel the same about the st once we all get to know each other better. Jack seemed to like her very much. so now my week is busy busy. Monday,Wednesday,Thursdays and Friday Jack has therapy which know means I am going to be gunning for Tuesday Dr. appointments for the kids lol. Alexis has a Dr. appointment Monday but it's not until late afternoon so I should be good.

Two and Done Vs Three and Done

I hear all over the Internet mostly on parenting boards people debating this situation. For me at the moment I am two and done or at least I try to be. Coming from a family of 3 children I do sometimes feel like I am missing someone in my own family. There is also all the comments it's is kind of like a cycle. stage 1 : new baby is here and they ask if/when are you having another child? stage 2: ( can branch off in 2 ways) way 1- If you have the opposite sex of your child you get the whole are you done having kids? way 2-you have the same sex and you get are you going to try for a boy/girl? stage 3: you have that 3rd and people assume it was a accident a slip up. Any child after that I suppose they think your crazy! Well here is my scenario I have a son and a daughter so I guess I should be done as my aunt said " you have a boy and a girl, theres no reason to have another" so I said I could have an alien. I struggle with the two and done dilemma constantly because honestly I feel like I am missing a child. to be honest here I think the reason I decided for now I am two and done is our families have so much negativity about another child. yea yea I shouldn't listen to them its my life.........but I do listen. so Yes I am two and Done but I WILL NOT do anything permanent to keep it that way.
